Recommendation

We have tried a lot of bearings, but nothing has held up better than Bones Swiss Bearings. I am still using the same set I bought nearly 5 years ago and they still spin free, quietly and there is still very little 'play' or looseness that usually occurs after a lot of usage. My experience with other bearings is they will get clogged up and slow down, creating a loss of speed and roll. 

The "Skate Rated" design combined with Swiss manufacturing results in a very reliable and fast bearing. You can find the same Skate Rated design in the Bones Super Reds and Bones Reds, but these are made overseas in China and while they are extremely fast, smooth and reliable, we find they begin to loosen up earlier than the Swiss, we believe, a result of the higher quality components.
